January Speaker will be Ashley Arevalo, a Corpus Christi native and Del Mar College graduate, earned her MBA from Texas A&M Corpus Christi in 2016. Her nontraditional career path led her to become Marketing Manager at Hilliard Center. She began in social media with The One Bride Guide, launched her own agency, worked with the Corpus Christi Hooks, and later supported companies like Stitch Fix, DailyLook, and Bombas during the pandemic. With a strong nonprofit background, she most recently served as Marketing and Outreach Specialist at the Children’s Advocacy Center, fundraising and teaching safety programs. Since 2016, she has donated menstrual products to schools and shelters and helped pass legislation eliminating the tampon tax in Texas..
